I am pleased you have taken an interest in learning about our company and in using microbe-based products.
After reading Dr. Higa's books and countless scientific articles on the subject of beneficial microbes, I felt compelled to bring these products to the mainstream marketplace and make them available for projects and applications where they are needed.
I was so fascinated and intrigued by the beneficial work of the microbes that I researched and collected every article I could find to learn why they were so effective. I learned that the beneficial bacteria are essential in sustaining a healthy environment for all life on earth and that they have been depleted in many of our ecosystems.
Research has shown that many of the problems with food safety, water quality, contamination, and non-sustainability have restorative solutions but it takes companies like EcoTools LLC to make these products available to "put nature's team to work" .

A special credit and thanks goes to
Dr. Terou Higa for his dilligent efforts in providing both the research needed to show the efficacy of the microbial applications and for his world leadership in making his field studies and research available around the globe. In his career as a horticulturist and professor from the University of the Ryukyus in Okinawa, Japan, he reported that his combination of different microorganisms (with both aerobic and anaerobic species) is capable of positively influencing decomposing organic matter such that it reverts into a ‘life promoting’ process. Dr. Higa invokes a ‘dominance principle’ to explain the positive effects of the bioactivity which produces healthy conditions in an environment .

Matthew Wood , a soil scientist, former student of Dr. Higa , and the founder of the Sustainable Community Development and SCD Probiotics companies. Matthew has been instrumental in expanding the use of bio-inspired products through his participation in projects all over the world and by his achievements in perfecting the production of microbe-based products with longer shelf life and consistent quality.
Matthew Wood and his company are leading many of the efforts to expand the use of biotechnology products in many parts of the world where they need it the most. His company has set up distribution all over the globe to make products available locally for farmers, municipalities, businesses, and residents.

Sachiko Kawamoto has been most supportive and helpful to many cancer patients and to anyone building a business based on making health saving products available. The other is Maria Knizner, the most serious composter and earth saving technology enthusiast I know.
